In awareness program highlighting the harm caused to health and environment by plastic and polythene bags on behalf of Dhyan Hospital and Dhyan Foundation was conducted at Kalangaraipatti on 06/04/2024 between 6.00 PM and 7.00PM.
In this programme 30 people was benefited irrespective of their Caste, Creed, Religion, Community and sex. In this program S.Srinisha (Psychologist and Camp Organizer) and Mrs. Krishna Priya (Chief Executive Officer of Dhyan Foundation) presided over the event.
S.Srinisha (Psychologist and Camp Organizer) attended and gave a special speech to the people to highlight the evils of “Plastic”. In this awareness program, the harms caused by plastic and polythene bags and their effects on health and nature were highlighted. Earlier an explanation was given citing paper bags used in dispensaries in our hospital as an alternative to polythene bags for example more than 25 people participated in this event and all took pledge against plastic and polythene bags.
Cloth bags and paper bags were given to all the participants. Mrs. L. Kanagalakshmi for supporting this awareness program was thanked on behalf of Dhyan Foundation and Hospital.
