Dhyan Foundation National Cancer Day Awareness Program-Karadikulam

National Cancer Day Awareness Programme on behalf of Dhyan Foundation was conducted at Karadikulam on 08/11/2023.

In this programme 35 deserving people was benefited irrespective of their Caste, Creed, Religion, Community and sex. Cancer (explained about breast cancer) Awareness speech was delivered to them Dr.M.Saravanakumar M.B.B.S.,

AIM:

     The aim of this programme is to explore the knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding breast cancer in a predominantly rural area along with identifying the determinants of delays to care and quality of life in breast cancer patients. This understanding may help to strengthen the health system by improving breast cancer control and management programmes and the delivery of care.

  8. Number of pregnancies
  9. Family history of cancer
  10. Awareness of breast cancer
  11. Awareness of breast self examination
  12. Participated in breast self examination

Staffs from Dhyan Foundation and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employees  took active part in this awareness programme. In this awareness programme Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employees were knowledge for Breast Cancer.

The Awareness Programme brought a clear cut knowledge on the participants on how to tackle emergency conditions in their day to day life and in their hospital which will be beneficial for both the society and hospital patients.
