A First Aid and CPR Awareness Program was successfully conducted at Tamilnadu Mercantile Bank, Kalugumalai branch on 06.08.2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The event was organized by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation with the objective of educating the bank staff on emergency medical response techniques.
The session was led by Dr. Jeyamurugan, who delivered an informative and interactive training on essential First Aid procedures and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). He explained the importance of immediate response in emergency situations, demonstrated basic life-saving skills, and guided participants through hands-on practice sessions.
The program saw active participation from the bank employees, who showed great enthusiasm and involvement in learning the procedures. The event aimed at equipping non-medical professionals with the confidence and competence to act during medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
The program was well-coordinated under the leadership of CEO Ms. Krishnapriya. Mr. Sanjeevi Gandhi, Manager, and Mr. Kannan, Supervisor, provided excellent support in organizing and managing the event logistics. Their efforts contributed significantly to the smooth execution and success of the awareness program.
