Dhyan Foundation Snake Bite Awareness Programme At Rural Welfare Building, Ramanadhapuram, Kalugumalai

The Snake Bite Awareness Program was successfully conducted on 18th September 2025 at the Rural Welfare Building, Ramanadhapuram, Kalugumalai . The program was organized by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation with the objective of educating residents about the prevention, first aid, and timely treatment of snake bites. Around the local community members participated actively, showing great interest in the session.

The awareness session was led by Dr. Jeya Murugan, who provided valuable information on identifying venomous and non-venomous snakes, immediate do’s and don’ts after a snake bite, and the importance of seeking medical care without delay. The residents were made aware of common myths surrounding snake bites and were guided on scientifically proven first-aid measures.
