The Alcohol Rehab Awareness Program was successfully conducted at Dhyan Health Care, Kalugumalai, on 22 November 2025 from 4.00 PM to 5.45 PM. The event aimed to spread awareness about the harmful effects of alcohol addiction and to promote healthy living among the local community. It was jointly organized by Dhyan Health Care, Dhyan Foundation, and the Alcohol Anonymous team. Local people participated in good numbers and showed strong interest in the awareness activities arranged for their benefit.



The program began with a warm welcome from the organizers, followed by inspiring speeches by the respected chief guests. Retired Headmaster Thiru. Vellathurai, retired Health Inspector Ayya Santhanam, and Gym Trainer Thiru. Ram Mohan shared valuable insights on health, discipline, and the importance of avoiding addictive habits. Their guidance created a positive impact on the audience and encouraged them to reflect on lifestyle improvement.



Sports personalities such as Kabaddi Coach Thiru. Rooban, Sports Trainer Thiru. Arokiya Muthuraj, and ARK Sports Club Member Madhan spoke about how physical activities can strengthen both body and mind. Blood Donation Foundation Secretary Thiru. Deepak and Auto Drivers Association President Maheswaran expressed their commitment to supporting alcohol-free community movements. Their involvement motivated participants to consider healthier alternatives and community-friendly practices.






Women leaders of the locality, including Union Chairperson Tmt. Sundaralakshmi, Rural Development Group Leader Tmt. Jayasudha, and Women SHG Leader Tmt. Muthukkutti, addressed the gathering with strong messages on family well-being and the social impact of addiction. They emphasized the vital role of families and communities in guiding individuals toward de-addiction and rehabilitation. Their meaningful contributions ensured inclusiveness and strengthened the overall purpose of the program.
The event concluded with an interactive session led by the Alcohol Anonymous team, where recovering individuals shared their personal experiences, challenges, and methods of overcoming addiction. The participants expressed their appreciation for the program and acknowledged its value for community health. The efficient coordination by CEO Krishnapriya, Manager Sanjeevi Gandhi, and Supervisor Kannan ensured the smooth and effective execution of the event. The program ended on a hopeful note, inspiring continued efforts towards creating an alcohol-free and healthy Kalugumalai community.
