The Cardio Diabetic Camp organized by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation was conducted on 02.11.2023 from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Dhyan Health Care, Kalugumalai. The camp aimed to provide comprehensive health screening and awareness for the prevention and early detection of cardiovascular and diabetic conditions among the local community.
A total of 68 participants attended the camp and underwent various medical tests including Hemoglobin (Hb), Blood Pressure (BP), Cholesterol, Thyroid Function, ECG, Diabetic Foot Examination, and Renal Function Test. Each participant received personalized health counseling and advice based on their results.
The camp was efficiently managed by CEO Ms. Krishnapriya, Manager Mr. Sanjeev Gandhi, and Supervisor Mr. Kannan, ensuring smooth coordination of all activities. The medical team comprised CMO Dr. Sivakumar and DMOs Dr. Abdul Halith, Dr. Jeyamurgan, and Dr. Pradeesh Well, who together provided expert guidance and diagnostic services.
Participants appreciated the efforts of the organizers and expressed satisfaction with the quality of medical care and the awareness created about maintaining heart health, blood sugar control, and the importance of regular checkups. Many attendees were counseled on lifestyle changes and referred for further evaluation where necessary.
Overall, the Cardio Diabetic Camp was a successful initiative that fulfilled its objective of promoting preventive healthcare and community well-being.
