A First Aid and CPR Awareness Program was successfully conducted on 22nd July 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Vimal Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Kalugumalai. The event was jointly organized by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation, with the aim of creating awareness among school students about essential first aid techniques and the basics of CPR.
Dr. Jeyamurugan led the session and delivered an insightful presentation to the students of 8th, 9th, and 10th standards. The interactive session helped the students understand how to respond effectively in emergency situations, including injury care, choking response, and life-saving CPR procedures. The session was well-received, and students actively participated with enthusiasm and curiosity.
The program was presided over by the School Headmaster, Mr. Velladurai, who appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of such health education programs in schools. The event was coordinated effectively by Ms. Krishnapriya, CEO of Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation, along with Mr. Sanjeevi Gandhi, Manager, and Mr. Kannan, Supervisor. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth execution of the entire program.
The awareness program marked a meaningful step toward empowering young students with life-saving knowledge and skills, reinforcing Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation’s ongoing commitment to community health education.
