A free Pediatric Health Camp was successfully conducted by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation at Dhyan Health Care, Kalugumalai, on 28.12.2025, between 8.00 am and 12.00 pm. The camp aimed to promote early detection and prevention of health issues among children and to create awareness among parents about child health and nutrition.
A total of 26 children participated in the camp. Comprehensive pediatric evaluations were carried out by Dr. Meenambikai, MBBS, DCH (Pediatrician), with active support from Dental Doctor Vengadesh and ENT Technician Samy, who provided specialized screening and basic treatment services for the children.
Various health screenings and tests were conducted during the camp, as highlighted in the camp notice. These included growth monitoring, anemia screening, nutrition assessment, vision check-up, audiology (hearing) screening, dental check-up, ENT evaluation, developmental assessment, vaccination advice, and general pediatric consultation. Necessary guidance and referrals were provided wherever required.
The camp was efficiently coordinated under the leadership of CEO Ms. Krishnapriya, with operational support from Manager Mr. Sanjeevi Gandhi and Supervisor Mr. Kannan. Their coordination ensured smooth registration, systematic examination flow, and effective interaction with parents.
Overall, the free pediatric camp was well-received by the community and proved beneficial in identifying health concerns at an early stage. Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation reaffirm their commitment to community health initiatives and plan to conduct similar camps in the future for the welfare of children.
