Dhyan Health Care in association with Dhyan Foundation successfully organized a Mega Medical Camp on 13/07/2025 (Sunday) from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Panchayat Building, Naaluvasankottai. This community-focused initiative was designed to provide high-quality medical services to underserved rural populations, particularly those facing challenges in accessing regular hospital care. The camp was well received by the local community and witnessed an enthusiastic response.
A total of 95 participants availed medical services during the camp. The large turnout reflected increasing health awareness among residents and the effectiveness of Dhyan Health Care’s efforts to reach the grassroots level. Community members were appreciative of the opportunity to undergo multiple medical assessments in one location and benefit from expert consultations.
The camp was led by a team of experienced and dedicated doctors. Key consultants included Dr. V. Sivakumar, MBBS, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Dhyan Health Care, Dr. N. Shanmugam Nellaiyappan, MBBS, MRCP, renowned physician, Dr. P. Jeyamurugan, MBBS (General Medicine), and Dr. Shanthanaraj, B.P.T, who handled physiotherapy evaluations. Their combined knowledge and compassionate service contributed to the success of the camp.
Each participant received a thorough health evaluation. The doctors conducted personalized consultations based on clinical symptoms, vital parameters, and available test reports. Many patients who were unaware of underlying conditions like hypertension and diabetes were able to receive immediate advice, prescriptions, and referrals for further follow-up where necessary.
A wide range of diagnostic and preventive screenings were offered, including blood sugar testing, blood pressure monitoring, ECG, pulmonary function test (PFT), liver function test (LFT), kidney function test (KFT), cardiac assessments, cholesterol testing, Eye Check-up, and Dental Check-up. These services helped in the early detection of chronic conditions and facilitated timely interventions.
The camp also included health awareness counseling for all age groups. The medical team explained the importance of regular check-ups, healthy eating habits, exercise, stress management, and adherence to prescribed medications. Special emphasis was placed on lifestyle diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and respiratory illnesses, which are becoming increasingly prevalent in rural areas.
The event was flawlessly coordinated by CEO Ms. Krishnapriya, Manager Mr. Sanjeev Gandhi, and Supervisor Mr. Kannan. Their leadership ensured smooth flow of patients, proper arrangement of medical stations, equipment readiness, and comfort for both the medical team and beneficiaries. The supportive staff and volunteers played an important role in registration, patient guidance, and logistics.
