The Hand Wash Awareness Program was successfully conducted at Union Primary School, Thulukkarpatti, Kalugumalai on 04.09.2025 between 3.00 PM and 4.00 PM. The program was organized by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation with the objective of educating young students about the importance of hand hygiene and disease prevention through proper hand washing practices.



The session was graced by Dr. Jeya Murugan as the guest educator, who explained in simple and interactive ways how germs spread and how regular hand washing can prevent common illnesses. The students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated in the demonstrations, making the event lively and impactful.
The program was well coordinated by CEO Ms. Krishnapriya, along with Manager Mr. Sanjeevi Gandhi and Supervisor Mr. Kannan. Their efforts ensured smooth execution, from arranging the venue to engaging students effectively throughout the session. Special attention was given to ensure that the learning was practical, and children were encouraged to practice the steps on the spot.



Students were taught the seven steps of effective hand washing and were made to repeat them under supervision. The activity helped them understand not only the importance of cleanliness but also how it connects to their overall health and well-being. The lively interaction helped in reinforcing the message that hand washing is a simple yet powerful habit.
The event concluded with a note of encouragement to the students to practice hand washing daily and spread the awareness among their families. The joint efforts of Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation reflected their commitment to community health and preventive education. Overall, the program was well received and created a positive impact among the young learners.
