On 14th June 2025, a World Blood Donation Day Camp was successfully organized by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation at Dhyan Health Care 24-Hour Hospital, Kalugumalai. The event took place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., bringing together medical professionals, social contributors, and enthusiastic donors with a shared commitment to saving lives.
The camp was graced by several esteemed guests who offered their valuable support and encouragement to the cause. Among them were Mr. A. Subramanian, Vice Chairman of Kalugumalai Municipality, Dr. Kalarani from Sasi Hospital, and Mr. Rajmohan, NCC Coordinator and teacher from Kalugumalai Government Higher Secondary School. Also present were Mr. Santhanam, Retired Government Primary Health Inspector; Mr. Ram Mohan, Fitness Trainer from Fire Fitness Zone Gym; Dr. Shaktivel from Sakthi Clinic, Kalugumalai; and Mrs. Thulasi, Medical Officer from Government PHC, Kovilpatti. Their presence added great value to the event and helped in motivating the donors.
A total of 15 donors came forward to donate their blood voluntarily. Each donor was guided through a proper medical screening process before donation to ensure safety and eligibility. The collected units were handled with utmost care, maintaining strict hygiene and medical protocols, and were handed over to authorized blood banks for further use in treating patients in need.

To honor and appreciate the noble gesture of the donors, each participant was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation issued by the Government. This initiative aimed not only to collect blood but also to spread awareness on the importance of regular blood donation and its life-saving potential.
The event ran smoothly with excellent coordination by the Dr.Sivakumar Chief Medical Officer,Dhyan Health Care, Krishnapriya CEO, Dhyan Health Care & Dhyan Foundation, Sanjeevi Gandhi (Manager) and Kannan (Supervisor) . Their efforts ensured proper organization, donor care, and guest management throughout the camp. This camp served as a testimony to community service and collective responsibility toward healthcare, further inspiring others to contribute toward such meaningful causes.
The Blood Donation Camp concluded with a note of gratitude to all donors, guests, and volunteers who made the program a great success.
