The World No Tobacco Day Awareness Program was conducted successfully at Dhyan Health Care(Kalugumalai) to educate the public about the harmful effects of tobacco use and to promote a tobacco-free lifestyle. The event was organized by Dhyan Health Care and Dhyan Foundation under the guidance of Dr. Sivakumar.
The program began with a warm welcome and introductory speech by the coordinators, followed by valuable sessions from invited guests who shared their thoughts and insights on the importance of quitting tobacco.



Special guests who participated in the event were:
- Rev. Fr. Selvin, Parish Priest of St. Lourdes Church, Kalugumalai, delivered an impactful speech highlighting the moral responsibility of staying away from harmful substances and encouraged the community to lead healthy lives.
- Dr. S. Sakthivel from Sakthi Clinic, Kalugumalai, spoke about the medical consequences of tobacco use and the importance of early intervention and support for those wanting to quit.
- Mr. Ram Mohan, Gym Trainer from Fire Fitness Zone, Kalugumalai, shared his views on the benefits of physical fitness and how staying active can help overcome tobacco addiction.
- Mr. Mary George, Organizer of Anbu Foundation Youth Wing, encouraged the youth to be leaders in spreading awareness and helping peers make better lifestyle choices.



The event also included interactive discussions, distribution of awareness pamphlets, and health tips from Dr. Sivakumar and the Dhyan Health Care team. The audience actively participated, and many pledged to support the tobacco-free movement.
